Abstract :
On the basis of the analysis of the flux leakage mechanism of permanent magnet DC motors, boundary conditions for numerical simulation of a leakage magnetic flux are established. By using the finite element analysis software Magnet, the motor leakage magnetic flux is simulated under different boundary conditions. The results of numerical simulation agree with the results of the test in the motor, which proves that theoretical calculation is right.
