Abstract :
In previous work (see Proc. AADEBUG 93, Springer-Verlag, 1993) we developed a generalised query minimisation based on minimum entropy technique for diagnosing incorrect answers in the context of program debugging. This approach is adapted from model-based diagnosis. In this paper the query minimisation has been explored further to source program debugging and to program diagnosis with missing answers. We argue that by allowing different ways of regarding diagnosis candidates this technique can be applied, as a general framework, for debugging many types of errors
