Abstract :
A novel blind algorithm for pulse amplitude modulation (PAM) carrier phase recovery is presented in this paper. This algorithm has been derived after reformulating the PAM carrier recovery problem as a 2×2 dimensional source separation problem. Also this algorithm is made recursive to track any time variations in the underlying phase. The performance of the proposed algorithm is illustrated via some numerical examples.
