Abstract
The potential for pulsed communications between two dipole antennas has been explored in the time domain. We derive a time-domain expression for the link between two centre-fed dipole antennas of arbitrary length and orientation by considering the Fourier transform of the equivalent frequency-domain expressions. A simple time-domain approximation of the link is constructed using only impulse functions.
