Abstract :
To solve the problem of vehicle test in the course of the clutch production and design, the clutch testing and analyzing apparatus based on the output characteristics of the clutch pedal force and displacement is designed. The USB high-speed data acquisition technology is used. By the high-speed data processing ability of PC, the characteristic points of the force and displacement curve are analysed. It can obtain the characteristic value of clutch pedal and provide the experiment basis of the design of clutch. They include the max pedal load, the max pedal travel, the free path, the engagement point, the disengagement point, the synchronisation point etc. The experiment results show that the clutch in a real car can be measured and analyzed very well. The system time resolution is 0.1ms. The displacement measuring accuracy is 1.5mm and the force measuring accuracy is 2N.
