Abstract
This paper defines a general business and technology case for the application of intelligent agent technology to the broad business category of automated care and revenue management. Both market and technical forces are creating an environment for the widespread adoption of intelligent agent and automated reasoning and decision making systems within these areas. Two specific markets, telecom and health care are illustrated. Finally a future envisioned state is outlined and the benefits enumerated
