Abstract
A generalized, precise, and computer-efficient table lookup model applicable to MOSFETs, MESFETs, and BJTs is presented. The model has been optimized and implemented into SPICE 2G.6 for analog large-signal and small-signal applications. The local and global accuracy is adjustable to within the limits of process variation. The model has been applied in the SPICE circuit simulator to predict the DC and AC performance of complex analog circuits such as a 1- mu m op amp more accurately and efficiently than conventional analytical models. The memory requirement for the model is 432 data points, which is less than 10 kbytes.<>
