  • Abstract
    The traffic control process is of time-variation, thus the timing control method is greatly limited. To obtain better control results, the intelligent control based on synergetic neural network (SNN) in this paper conduct pattern classification on the entire dynamic process, adopting different control strategies on different patterns. As for the time-variation of the dynamic characters in the traffic control process, the method is to conduct pattern recognition and classification control on the dynamic characters by the SNN algorithm of prototype pattern. By providing a simulative example of traffic signal control, it can be proved that the application of the SNN algorithm in traffic control is successful.
