Abstract :
In this paper, the fall-of-potential (three-pole) method is used to measure grounding resistance by using triangular grid under dry and wet conditions. The grounding resistances are found to be 8.4Ω, and 8.2Ωrespectively for dry and wet conditions at 1.8 m length of buried electrode with pure copper rod. The linear regression analysis is used to establish the empirical relationship between grounding resistance and length of buried triangular grid.
