Abstract :
Economic dispatch models for combined cycle cogeneration plants are evaluated. A model for topping, combined cycle facilities has been depicted based on a Lagrangian and Kuhn-Tucker approach for optimization with constraints. The model has been expanded to include typical power plant environmental constraints. The theoretical aspects of applying such an approach are also discussed
