Abstract :
The paper gives results in the analysis of genomic signals at the scale of whole chromosomes. For illustration purposes, eukaryote chromosomes are presented, but the same methods have been applied for the analysis of prokaryote chromosomes. Phase analysis, 2D (complex) and 3D (vector) sequence path analysis, and statistical analysis are presented. Based on the comparative behaviour of the cumulated and the unwrapped phases, a model of the structure of chromosomes is inferred.
