Abstract
This paper introduces the notion of entropy of intuitionistic fuzzy events. Based on the concept of probability of events in the intuitionistic fuzzy setting, we propose different entropy definitions. These entropies constitute a generalization of the corresponding definitions for fuzzy events. Moreover, their properties are thoroughly studied and their connections are investigated. Finally, relations between the concepts of probability and entropy for fuzzy and intuitionistic fuzzy events are stated and proved
