Abstract :
The AC impedance behavior of a lithium-ion cell with nonporous intercalation electrodes is simulated using a model based on well-established theoretical principles. The effects of cell design (electrode thickness, ratio of cathode to anode capacity) and electrode properties (capacitance, kinetics, diffusion coefficient) on impedance spectra are explored.
