  • Abstract
    In this paper an optically reconfigurable negative refractive index transmission line (NRI-TL) was realised by inserting optical switches into the generalised negative refractive index transmission line. By changing the gap capacitance along the microstrip line, it is possible to control the opened stop-band condition of the generalised NRI-TL. The unit cell presented here could find use in a variety of reconfigurable multi-band applications.
