Abstract :
We demonstrate a high-power (6.7 mW) high-speed (3-dB bandwidth of 12-GHz) small-linewidth (0.08 nm) single-mode (SMSR of > 30 dB) 850-nm VCSEL for optical interconnects application, and a record-high bit-rate-distance product (28 Gbpsx 2.3 km) for OM4 MMF transmission under OFDM modulation formats is presented.
