Abstract :
In this paper, gear parameters are measured with the machine vision technology, firstly, gear edge is extracted from the gear image using image processing method, secondly, the gear center is set in gear edge image with random Hough transform, four basic gear geometry parameters are identified by their measurement algorithm. And compare with the measured values by the traditional measurement method, the results show that the accuracy of this method can meet the requirements of gear Parameter Measurement.
