Abstract
In the development of a compact 4 × 25 Gb/s ROSA (receiver optical sub-assembly) for 100G Ethernet transceivers, we have investigated alignment tolerance between an optical demultiplexer and a four-channel PD array. The module exhibited very large lateral alignment tolerance of more than ± 250 μm.
