Abstract :
To analyze comprehensively the characteristics of ship isolation system, a dynamical model of the hybrid vibration isolator with air spring and giant magnetostrictive actuator (GMA) as its core elements was established, a nonlinear model of the ship machine´ isolation system using the hybrid vibration isolator was set up, in which the base was considered as a non-rigid body. The effect of the air spring´s nonlinear parameters on the system´s performance and the relationship between the excitation current and the isolation effect were studied numerically, and some practically valuable conclusions were put forward.
