Abstract
This paper presents a discussion about what kind of problems can arise when a platform, that provides an agent transport service, is built using CORBA technology and current CORBA services. Initially, issues related to agent transport are presented. Then, aspects of the CORBA Life Cycle Service, related to object mobility are described. Finally we introduce our proposal to build an Agent Transport Service based on CORBA platform
