Abstract
This paper investigates a novel method to derive a set of binary sequences from a chaotic dynamical system. We modify the previous methods using statistical properties of chaotic sequences. It has been shown that the proposed sequences have good performance according to merit factor and W-index criteria and can be used as a spreading sequence in asynchronous DS-CDMA systems.
