  • Abstract
    Six years apart, two antennas were manufactured for use as data-link antennas on moon-crashing probes. The antennas, for the SMART-1 and LCROSS missions, are different from each other. Although the design process was essentially the same, the choice of manufacturing technology has had impact on the performance of the two antennas.
