Abstract :
This paper analyses components of the contactless power transfer (CPT) system and the operating principle. It presents and realizes utilizing ANSYS finite element software to make the two-dimensional and three-dimensional simulations of the loosely coupled transformer. The loosely couple transformer is the key part of the CPT system. Through drawing and analyzing the distributions of magnetic field intensity and magnetic flux density of loosely coupled transformer, the key technical parameters of loosely coupled transformer are calculated, such as flux Linkage and inductance. Through comparing the analysis results of EE42 and EC42 core, the assisting design method of the core structure of the transformer is presented.
