Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a novel gait recognition method, which applies to different viewing angles. In the method, difference motion slices that contain moving objects are extracted. With the difference motion slices we can get difference gait images, in which both static appearance shape information and dynamic information of habitual motion of the body can be expressed. Extensive experiments have been conducted on the NLPR database and the experimental results verified the high performance of the proposed method
