Abstract :
High performance marine inertial systems, such as those needed for sensor or weapon stabilization and control, tend to be large, heavy and expensive. Alternatives are therefore being considered, especially for smaller ships. The paper examines various options for Kalman filter integration of a lower performance inertial system with different GPS measurements, including GPS attitude
