Abstract
A very efficient CAD tool called TIGER was developed with the intention of automating the process of the test insert design for BiCMOS technologies. This user-friendly routine drastically reduces the overall design time of a test insert. TIGER has several intelligent features characteristic of an expert routine, such as the ability to select desired test structures for a given technology option. In conjunction with the information on the floor layout of an IC chip, TIGER allows for efficient utilization of silicon area
