Abstract :
The authors report on an innovative use of hands-on computer aided instruction (CAI) which can provide a greater understanding of signal processing from entry-level (i.e., signals and systems) through graduate-level studies. With CAI, students receive powerful reinforcement with a minimum invasion on the instructor´s pedagogical style or preparation time. Early data indicate that this CAI methodology is both effective and economical
