Abstract :
OFDM-IDMA (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing and Interleave Division multiple access) has been recently proposed as an alternative to plain IDMA (Interleave Division multiple access) in ISI channels. In this paper we have discussed the performance of OFDM-IDMA with random based interleaver´s and deterministic interleaver´s. A new design technique of deterministic interleaver is proposed and analyzed. The performance of random based interleaver with the proposed deterministic interleaver was compared. These interleavers were compared based on Bit Error rate, memory requirement and computational complexity.
