Discussion on the application methods of the conversion of music into visual arts

Many artists and designers have long been trying to convert music into visual arts. On the basis of the author´s design practice, this article focuses on the analysis of the commonality of music and visual arts and divides from the aspect of synesthesia the methods adopted in the visualization of music into three categories: direct relevance, formal relevance and emotional relevance.
