    Digital simulation studies are becoming increasingly common in the power system industry. The introduction of real time digital simulation techniques has further broadened the applicability of such studies over the last several years. This paper presents details of new operating software for the Real Time Digital Simulator (RTDSTM) designed to facilitate the investigation and evaluation of protective relays and integrated protection and control systems
