Abstract
The simple and reliable plasma compact source of low concentration of NOx with range 2-200 ppm is described in this paper. The source consists of a pulsed high voltage generator and a spark plug with an air gas line or compressor. The plasma chemical reactions allow production of NOx. The electrical circuit for generating plasma is also presented. The results are evaluated against NOx concentration measurements taken with an FTIR. The applications of the compact source of low concentration NOx for test and calibration of NOx sensors are given.
