  • Abstract
A cryomicroscopy system is described in which the chemical environment and temperature of a specimen can be independently and simultaneously controlled during a cryopreservation protocol. In this system, temperature is regulated via computer interface, and the actual freezing of a specimen can be precisely controlled by operator input. In addition, the specimen can be continuously viewed during a cryopreservation protocol
