  • Abstract
Proposing a novel electric motor which stator and rotor are made of amorphous alloy instead of traditional silicon material, Based on Ansoft/MAXWELL2D, using finite element method, the Electromagnetic field of the designed motor is analyzed. The main curves are given including flux density distribution vs. angle, output torque vs. speed and the relationship between efficiency and speed. The comparison of output power is simulated by Matlab under intermediate frequency power between the designed motor and traditional motor. The result shows that compared with traditional motors, the amorphous alloy motor has the advantages of energy economizing, volume reducing and working in higher frequency.
