Abstract :
In this paper, a method is proposed which uses the periodic compactly supported radial basis function (PCSRBF) to improve the bidimensional empirical mode decomposition (BEMD). PCSRBF not only has the fine interpolation and suppresses the boundary effect, but also has low computation cost. Experiments indicate that the method in this paper can gain better decompositions for BEMD
