Abstract
A coordinated control paradigm for complex systems, based on intelligent agent supervisory loops is being proposed. The main focus is to assess the strategy of multi-level organizational approach for the control of such systems using intelligent agents. The paper discuss some design methods for the intelligent control based on multi-agent systems acting on a supervisory loop with the overall goal of expandable organizational control. Further, how these agents can be utilized for scalable multi-agent coordination will be discussed. Subsequently, the issues related to the system stability and supervision based on global action evaluation strategy is illustrated. Main advantage and uniqueness of the proposed architecture is scalability, multi-level decision making and coordinated control of complex systems in the presence of external influences.
