Abstract :
The Semantic web services composition orchestrates the heterogeneous resources and services on the web with a loose couple, which crosses language and platform. This paper presents the general web service and semantic web services with two standards such as BPEL4WS and OWL-S, and introduce the way to composite web services via BPEL4WS and its advantages and disadvantages. Then next it states the means that translate the general web service into Semantic web service. At last, it explores the composition of semantic web services based on OWL-S and its application, and presents the means that implement automatical discovery, matching, invocation, composition of semantic web services in detail.
