Abstract
Notice of Retraction
After careful and considered review of the content of this paper by a duly constituted expert committee, this paper has been found to be in violation of IEEE´s Publication Principles.
We hereby retract the content of this paper. Reasonable effort should be made to remove all past references to this paper.

Direct sequential simulation being an interpolation method has been used widely for information reconstruction of certain variables, which does not use any transformation of the original variable. Unfortunately, it does not reproduce the histogram of the original variable, but histogram reproduction is one of the basic requirements of any reconstruction method. This has been the most serious limitation to the practical application of the direct sequential simulation approach. A new approach for the direct sequential simulation is used to reconstruct the unknown information, which uses the local estimates of the mean and variance, and samples from the global cdf (cumulative distribution function). Simulated values of the original variable are drawn from intervals of the global cdf, which are calculated with the local estimates of the mean and variance. Experimental results show that the reconstructed results of the new method are much better than those of the original method.
