Abstract :
Software metrics play an important role in developing high quality software as well as developer productivity. In this paper, we analyze the relationships between object-oriented (OO) metrics attributes and software quality characteristics, combining traditional and OO metrics method, present a coherent framework model for object-oriented software metrics and their computational methods, which can metric software development from four layers: function layer, class layer, module layer and system layer.
