Abstract
In the present paper, a self-isolated CDMOS technology to integrate multichannel surge protection circuits for the switch interface of electronic control units (ECUs) is proposed. The proposed technology saves the mounting area of the surge protection circuits on the printed circuit board by 80% when compared with the conventional resistor- and capacitor-chip circuits rated 25kV at 150pF-150Ω ESD test.
