Abstract :
Integrated services switch technology based on ATM-MPLS is a hot research spot of network switching area. Applying the method of simulation to analyze the MPLS network is a valid approach. However, it only provides the model of IP-MPLS in the powerful simulation platform OPNET. On the basis of deep research on IP-MPLS simulation model, this paper puts forward and implements an ATM-MPLS-based integrated services switch model. Furthermore, we compared the performance of MPLS network and non-MPLS network based on our ATM-MPLS model and found that the performance of the data transmission in the experimental network that uses the MPLS model is superior to the network that does not use MPLS.
