The American Plastics Council (APC) recently sponsored “A Structural Analysis of the Information Technology (IT) Recycling Industry”. Within the realm of the IT industry, this study focused on engineered plastic. The study looked at OEM recycling strategies; the identification of high-volume, high-value plastics; the characterization of recycling capabilities throughout the IT recycling supply chain; and potential applications for recycled IT plastic
