Abstract
A complex approach to computer-aided design and investigation of the frequency characteristics of the ultra-wideband (UWB) pulse antenna is presented in the paper. The base of design antenna algorithm is worked out. A planar monopole pulse ultra-wideband antenna for use in radiocommunication systems is proposed. Design of the antenna is discussed and frequency characteristics, current and near electromagnetic field distributions are presented. Obtained results may be effectively used for the evaluation of EMC propertics of UWB radiocommunication systems.
