Abstract :
In this paper a new method is presented for calculating the harmonic components of DC voltage and positive and negative sequence AC currents of both rectifier and inverter sides of AC HVDC link. The HVDC converters are represented by linearised small signal model and the calculations are based on the Fourier series calculations presented in our last work. To validate the method, a comparison is made with the PSCAD/EMTDC time domain simulation program
