Abstract :
The article presents the design and measurement results of a reconfigurable antenna based on leaky-wave microstrip line operating on a higher order mode. Frequency band of the antenna depends on the width of the antenna aperture, which is switched by changing the state of the PIN diodes. The results obtained for an exemplary structure demonstrate such approach to changing the operating frequency band of an antenna can be successful.
