Abstract :
A simplified method has been established to study the dynamic characterization of the two CPW (coplanar waveguide) discontinuities (open-end and short-end stubs). Analytical formulas, easy to use in CAD, are proposed to calculate the inductances and capacitances of these models. The results are compared with measurements performed in the frequency range 1-30 GHz.
