  • Abstract
    A millimetre-wave band architecture for UWB transmission systems and simulations results using VPIsystems software are described. With a central station ldquoCSrdquo and a base station ldquoBSrdquo, this architecture allows to send simultaneously a microwave carrier and data through an optical fibre by using a wavelength multiplexer. The investigated structure makes it easier to transpose the RF signal to 60 GHz after multiple multiplication operations of the frequency carrier at the BS.
