Abstract :
The design and realization of the dual-mode microstrip ring and patch resonator narrow-band filters is presented. The new concept of the couplings between dual mode planar resonators is shown. Two types filters have been designed and tested: a dual mode ring resonator filter in HTS technology (YBCO on sapphire) and dual mode microstrip patch resonator filter. The measured results of four-pole elliptic filters agree well with the theory.
