MITcXML (Machinery and IT Convergence eXtensible Markup Language)

Currently in the Machinery and IT convergence industry, there are an increasing number of devices available and under development that can enable those services with the use of various emerging IT convergence technologies. However, there is not yet a dominant system architecture and format for describing the data and control methods on various devices for those services. In this paper, we made the machinery and IT convergence system architecture including gateway. Also this specification describes MITCXML (Machinery and IT Convergence extensible Markup Language) format to remotely monitor and remotely control in-premises´ machinery and IT convergence devices using XML (extensible Markup Language). The experimental result shows that our MITcXML based convergence scheme achieves more interoperability than manual management schemes.
