Abstract :
A series of missile tracking tests were conducted at White Sands Missile Range to demonstrate the airborne laser (ABL) fire control sequence against TMD class targets. This sequence includes: coarse sensor target acquisition and passive track; hard body hand over from the passive coarse track sensor to the shared aperture, active illumination and tracking sensor; active fine track of the target; aim point offset of the shared aperture line of sight to the target aimpoint, and kill assessment. This paper describes the results of this test
