Abstract :
Fed-batch fermentations for production of L-lysine and L-valine are carried out using high producing strains. Based on the experimental data, comparative studies of both processes are done, applying different mathematical procedures as follows: preliminary data processing and calculation of different specific rates; development of nonlinear models of specific growth, specific utilization and specific production rates; establishment of dynamic models of fermentation processes; parametric optimisation; simulation researches. Comparative studies of both processes are discussed based on developed models.
