Abstract
The basic concept of video and image based wireless monitoring and control system, the main requirements from the law enforcement communities and related performance of the wireless surveillance system are described. Section I is the introduction, section II is the concept for the customized solution of encryption for video, image and control signals, section III is the field experiment report, and last section is the summary and future work. The major challenge in this area is providing robust link along the transmission/ transport path and most importantly through highly secured communication channels that allows few errors and low delay for remote operations. This paper explains the special encryption method for this purpose.
